What is the tungsten carbide?
The tungsten carbide emanates from the carbide and the tungsten. The tungsten is made with ores of tungstate oxidized to give it pure tungsten. It is used in the powder metallurgy, it’s one of the hardest material in the world.
Today it’s used for its very great resistance to wear and its hardness. It also offers better shock resistance.
