Carbide Balls Manufacturer
since 1975

A family story, a pioneer in carbide ball manufacturing

Founded in 1975 in Switzerland by Jean Sandoz, a mechanical engineer specialized in powder metallurgy, Miniabilles was created with a clear goal: to become a leading manufacturer of carbide balls. Drawing on his experience in the carbide industry, Jean Sandoz positioned the company from the start in a demanding market: the production of tungsten carbide balls, a material renowned for its hardness and wear resistance.
In 1996, Miniabilles moved to France, in the Nièvre region, establishing its headquarters at 4 Chemin de Chaumigny. This relocation marked a new phase of development while maintaining the technical DNA and Swiss precision that defined its beginnings.
Today, Miniabilles is recognized as a pioneer in carbide ball manufacturing. Thanks to the consistency of its quality and its expertise, the company enjoys an excellent reputation. Exports account for 60% of its turnover.
Since 2017, Maxime Sandoz has taken over the management of Miniabilles with a strong ambition: to develop the company in France and internationally, while innovating to meet the evolving needs of industry.
Since 2023, as part of our ongoing commitment to quality improvement, we have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification. This recognition reflects our dedication to providing services that meet the highest standards and continuously enhancing customer satisfaction.
